Who I Am
I'm Phil — a full-stack developer based in Iowa with a background that probably doesn't look like most developers'. Before I was writing code professionally, I spent over a decade in law enforcement and a few years in education. That background shaped how I think: methodically, practically, and with a focus on what actually matters to the people using the thing I'm building.
These days I work as a solo developer and automation architect, building web apps, iOS apps, and backend workflows. I specialize in taking messy, manual processes and turning them into clean, automated systems — whether that's a volunteer signup platform, a devotional audio pipeline, or a room booking app.
P² Development is the home for my freelance work and side projects. No big agency overhead — just direct collaboration with someone who will actually build your thing and care about how it works.
